The elegance of dancers’ movements invaded the Royal Opera House with a magical atmosphere for the last day of Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker in London, on January 12th 2017.

Peter Wright’s classic production for The Royal Ballet brilliantly led the festive Christmas season to an end, with an extemporal masterpiece that offered a unique feeling of delicate but vibrant passion.

Through enchanting performers, costumes, scenography and unforgettable music, the combination of ballerinas’ fragile grace accompanied by magical instruments of an antique but never ending charm brought a special childhood ‘s flavor back.

The young Clara present in each one of us danced all night long with the Nutcracker for a voyage into memories and a titillation of the best souvenirs. Dreams, fears and passions fluctuated on  adorable notes releasing a delightful nostalgie.

Right before starting a new year,  a question came inevitably. Can we still live in a fairytale?
